Story Teller:

What do you think when you meet a Saudi Arabian?
What do you think about people living in a country that is so rich of oil?
Do you think the oil in Saudi Arabia is near everyone's house?
Do you think every Saudi Arabian benefits from the oil?
What kind of clothes do they wear? What kind of cars do they drive?
These are just a few of the many questions I had about Saudi Arabia. When I came to U.S I met with different nationalities people who talked with strange words: “vast amounts of oil money flood into Saudi Arabia that you swim in oil”. Yes the oil is cheap compare to other countries but that doesn’t mean everyone is rich with its vast oil wealth, Saudi Arabia has one of the highest concentrations of super-rich households in the world, but an estimated 20 percent of the population. One of the articles say: “Obviously rich Saudis but they’re not an accurate representation of the whole. So you’ll have to forgive the Westerner who assumes from afar that all Saudis are wealthy. It’s stupid of course, but assumptions often are when they’re based on bad information.”
Another myth is because Saudi Arabian so rich that they buy a new car at least once every two years but if you will visit Saudi Arabia, you will notice that over 90% of the cars are Japanese or American.
